I totally forgot to take pictures of the kids on their first day of school. (These pictures were taken a few days later) The kids are spread out between three schools this year.
Aaron is a sixth grader at Roosevelt Junior High, he is in Mr. Felsch's class. He gets to go to gym and a new class they made for sixth graders called Current Issues. He also gets to have a locker which he thinks is cool.
Ammon is a fourth grader at Kings Peak Elementary(formerly Roosevelt Middle School), he is in Mrs. Romero's class.
Annie is also at Kings Peak Elementary in the third grade, she is in Mrs. Wood's class. This is the first year the third graders are at Kings Peak.
Emily is in first grade at East Elementary in Ms. Zirker's class. She is excited because her new best friend/our neighbor Nadalie is in her class.
Erica is excited to start school next week. She is in Kindergarten in Mrs. Davis's class. (All three of the girls have had Mrs. Davis for Kindergarten.)
Ethan started headstart this week. He gets to ride the bus by himself. He is very excited to go. 'My bus, my bus'.
James gets to stay home and spend time with mom.

Harrison Family Reunion
Michael's cousin Megan planned the family reunion this year. It was held out by Strawberry Reservoir. Most of Grandma Liz's family was there. The kids had a blast. They loved playing in this one spot that had lots of loose dirt. The kids were all covered in it by the end of the first day.

Anderson Family Reunion
THE Best Anderson reunion we've ever been to.
This is called the Harding Hideout in Myton. The kids loved the water, they didn't have swimsuits, but that didn't matter. They spent about five hours in the water and didn't want to leave. This place has a covered pavilion, the water slide, the boathouse in the middle of the pond, paddle boats, a row boat, two rope swings-one really tall one and one not so tall. A covered sandbox, a covered swing area with tire horses. A tree house built on tree stumps. The kids had a blast playing with everything.
It was a small reunion, not many people showed up. Mostly Grandpa & Grandma's family. A few others that I didn't really know.

Maestas Family Reunion
We went to the Maestas Family reunion this weekend. It was held at Iron Springs, it's on Red Cloud Loop above Vernal. One of the activities they had for the kids and some of the more adventurous adults was a diving pond. They had a kiddie pool full of sawdust and then they buried money in it. The kids had a blast diving for the money, there were even some gold dollars buried in there. Annie was a pro at it, she learned real fast how to move the sawdust really soft and slow so she found the money. She made a haul with more then $8.00 in coins.

Even Michael got in on the action. He found a few coins the four turns he had. On the very next turn, Emily took the spot where he had been and found a gold dollar.
James did okay in the playpen the first day but by the second day he had enough and wanted to be able to crawl where he wanted to.
Before the auction they had Minute to Win It games. Michael was called up to do this game, they had a cookie and had to place it on the forehead and by wiggling their heads and moving facial muscles get it to their mouths without using their hands.
