James and Tigerlily

This is how I occasionally find James, he crawls up onto the changing table and sits in the basket of clothes. This time the cat was with him, if you look close down in the left corner you can see her ears.

14.7 Miles

14.7 total miles. That's what the kids and I walked on Saturday.

Our Stake had a 5 mile fun run/walk around Bottle hollow yesterday. Ammon went for .8 miles and then turned around and went back. Emily, Erica and Ethan went for 2.3 miles each. Aaron and I went for a total of 3.1 before I just gave out. My legs were feeling like jelly before we even climbed the last hill. I pushed through it and made it to the top but knew I wouldn't be able to make the whole 5 miles. I think we did the 3 miles in 2 hours or just a little more.

Rec. Center

We went to the rec. center and let the kids play for about three hours.

When we were done at the rec center we went and got pizza and ate at the park.

Summer Fun

My kids haven't been doing enough active things this summer so we took away the tv and wii. They also have to clean their rooms which have been messy for quite awhile now. They hate it and continue to complain that we're mean parents. Oh well. I remember my summers, they were spent weeding the garden, playing in the canal, riding bikes, doing chores, and just hanging out. My kids have no idea how to work hard. It's like a whole new concept to them.

Train Ride

At the Crapo Family Reunion, which was held at Natalie & Jeremy's, we got to take a ride on the Heber Valley Historic Railroad.

Graduation

Chopper 5

Chopper 5 came to the schools because of a reading program. The kids got to walk around it and I was able to snap a few pictures.
